Do you have a therapist? or... "It could be just stress"? Maybe... "Here's a prescription for pain medication, and let's set up a follow-up. " WHAT!!!!???? Come on... We have all been there.

In this image, Dorothy Sbornak, a lead character from The Golden Girls, sets the stage for what most of us feel. It is a two-part episode that depicts what we all go through at some point in our lives. "Doctor, I am sick," she says. "Doctor, there is something wrong with me, and I don't know what it is," she says. "Why can't you help me? She leaves the office overlooked, unheard, dismissed, and probably worse than when she walked in. Sound familiar? Real Pain. Real Problem. Only back then were "real results" rare.

Then something wonderful happens throughout all of the trials, specialists, sleepless nights, crying, dependency... She meets a specialist who is referred to her by a dear friend and neighbor... her neighbor, Dr. Harry Weston. The attractive pediatrician. Really? It takes a pediatrician to make a miracle referral. Dorothy goes to this specialist, and within one visit she finds out that she has Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. A condition that brings on flu-like symptoms, widespread pain, depression, amongst other unexplained symptoms.
